Seriously Painting Ltd.'s Covid-19 Safety Protocol

Committed To Safety

  Seriously Painting Ltd is committed to lowering the risks of Covid-19 transmission while continuing to provide high-quality painting services.

 

Through communicating expectations and responsibilities with customers and staff, daily health checks, use of PPE, regular hand washing and sanitizing, and regular Jobsite sanitation.

Customer Expectations and Responsibilities

Daily Health Checks

Prior to completing a site visit, providing an estimate, or beginning work Seriously Painting Ltd. staff will complete the following health check as required by WorkSafe BC: 

 

  1. Have you traveled outside Canada in the last 14 days?

    2. Have you been identified by Public Health as a close contact of someone with Covid-19?

 

    3. Have you been ordered to isolate by Public Health?

 

    4. Have you experienced any Covid-19 symptoms? 

Symptoms include but are not limited to: fever or chills, cough, loss of sense of smell, difficulty breathing, sore throat, loss of appetite, extreme tiredness or fatigue, headache, body aches, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.

 

If any of the above statements are true any site visits, or scheduled work will have to be rescheduled until it is safe.

Use Of PPE

   Customers and anyone else on site are required to wear masks anytime physical distiancing isn’t possible. Customers are encouraged to wear masks during site visits, estimates, and when interior work is being completed even if physical distancing is possible when inside.

Other Requirements

 Customers are required to disclose to Seriously Painting Ltd. staff if other trades, contractors, or visitors who will be in the same areas as Seriously Painting Ltd. staff during any site visits, estimates, and during interior work. Trades, contractors and other visitors are required to wear masks if physical distancing is not possible. If possible, Seriously Painting Ltd. will work with customers to schedule site visits, estimates and interior work when trades, contractors and other visitors are not present to help lower the risk of transmission. 

Staff Responsibilities

Seriously Painting Ltd. staff will complete daily wellness checks including the following questions:

Use Of PPE

  Staff are required to wear masks when they are working inside of customer’s homes/businesses, and whenever physical distancing isn’t possible. Staff are only to remove masks briefly while eating or drinking. This includes and is not limited to: transportation to and from job sites, picking up materials from suppliers, completing  work inside of customer’s homes/businesses, and using the customers washrooms while completing exterior work.

Hand Washing and Sanitizing

     Seriously Painting Ltd. staff are encouraged to regularly wash their hands with soap and water throughout the day and sanitize whenever possible. Sanitizer will be available in work bags and work vehicles.

Job Site Sanitization

  Seriously Painting Ltd. staff will sanitize common touch points daily. Common hand tools will also be sanitized between projects.
